Atherton Lacrosse offers a program for new lacrosse players ages 5 & 6.

  • The Young Starter (Rookie Superstars) program runs Monday - Friday from 9 - 12

  • These camps offer the perfect introduction for your child into the sport of lacrosse.

  • Activities are geared to teach the very basic fundamentals
  •  Passing, catching cradling, ground balls, shooting
  •  Some of the history of Lacrosse
  •  Lacrosse terminology and an introduction to team play and strategy

  • A mini lacrosse stick is the right size for this age group-- you can purchase one at a sporting
    goods store or when registering on-line with us there is an option to purchase a set of 2.
